frequent headaches and cracking sensation in head

title is pretty self explanatory.... I have gotten frequent headaches for years and the dr never really investigated.... i went to the hospital once and the did a ct scan of my head that was 3 years ago and everything was fine... my headaches tend to feel a lot like pressure and then there are days that they are throbbing like crazy and sometimes i notice cracking sounds in my head kinda like the sound of cracking knuckles which worries me cause i have never heard of any one having cracking in their head.... is it just related to the headaches? I remember having this sensation about 10 or so years a go when i was a teenager... i am guessing if it was something serious i would know by know?

thanks for any opinions

HI. I am 36 male, never really have had medical problems. My wife is having my first baby in a few weeks, but I am more excited and a bit nervous, as well as tired as I have been working a lot of hours......... With that said I recently have started getting really bad headaches as well as testicular soreness. My headaches come with a touch of crackling sounds(very worrisome) and I have no fevers blood pressure, sneezing or coughing etc.... I would like to believe I am a strong person and nothing is out of the ordinary axcept for those few symptoms.... Does any one have any advise? I went to two doctors and they both said stress.... Why would my testes be hurting though.? Very strange and I am stumped.... Horrible feeling when I wake up in middle of night only not to be able to go back to sleep. Advise or  recomandations?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi,
How are you?Can you elaborate on the cracking sounds?  When do they occur or what could be the possible triggers?  It is good that your CT scan result was normal. This would rule out anatomical or organic issues.   Pressure-type headaches are usually attributed to tension headaches. This usually resolves with rest, ice pack and pain medications. You may benefit from a recent head scan and a headache journal wherein you can write the possible triggers- food, weather, etc. A pattern may be observed after several recurrences that you could avoid. Take care and do keep us posted.
