head ache

before two year i consulted a doctor because of head ache and i took a ct scan of my head and it is found that a cyst is formed in my brain and then he prescribe some medicines and i continued it for about one year but now a days i got seveir head ache and it is lasting for 5-15 minutes

Thank you for your question. Brain cyst may remain asymptomatic for long years. But if it is large it can cause headache, paralysis, seizures and gait disorders. Therefore, surgical intervention is essential to remove the large cyst and if permanent damage needs to be avoided.  Craniotomy, needle aspiration and cerebral shunts are common surgical treatment that may help.  Please consult a neurologist right away in this regard.
