headache behing the eyes

I keep getting a wicked headache behind my eye and pressure in my head and nose...Is this a sinus headache??  Any ideas on how to cure it??

Could be a sinus headache. Could also be a migraine. Have you tried any over-the-counter headache medications such as advil? Does that help the pain at all?

I would suggest getting this checked out by a doctor... just to make sure you don't have a sinus infection that needs antibiotics. Or migraines that need triptans.

In the meantime, I would suggest applying either a cold-pack OR a damp warm face-cloth (which ever feels better... if it's a sinus thing, the damp warm face-cloth will probably feel better) over your eyes and forehead and taking an over-the-counter pain killer such as advil.
