Hi,
Tension headaches are indeed caused by stress and sometimes, hidden depression. It presents with dull, non-throbbing pain, associated with tightness of scalp or neck. The degree of severity remains constant. Rest and avoidance of stress, ice packs, pain relievers, biofeedback therapy and other relaxation methods may help. Take care and do keep us posted.
Thank you for your comment. I went to the doctoe she said it was tension headaches and that i needed to try to find a way to relax or go to therapy. So i guess now i will try to see a chiroprator.
Hi,
How are you? Can you elaborate/describe your headache? Was there any trauma to your head or neck? Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) Headaches presents with muscle-contraction type of pain, sometimes accompanied by a painful "clicking" sound on opening the jaw. This can also be an Infrequent cause of headache and may be due to malocclusion (poor bite), stress, and jaw clenching. Try to relax, use Ice packs, pain relievers and identify possible sources of headache triggers. If it persists, you may need to have this checked by your doctor for proper evaluation. Take care and do keep us posted.
