headaches

my daughter who is 12 years 3 nights back got a very severe headache, during the headache one side of the forhead was very cold while the other side was very warm and the pulse on both sides also was different. the pain was so severe she could not bare it. and has to hold her forehead very tight. And also vommitted twice, after vommitting even the pain did not go.

Still don't know what kind of pain it is. what shall i do now, as in maldives we don't have neuro doctors.

How is your daughter? If this is the first time she experienced such severe headache, it is best that you have diagnostic tests done such as blood tests and imaging studies such as CT scan or MRI to rule out any organic causes. Even without neurologists, an evaluation by your local doctors may be helpful. Take care and do keep us posted.
