help please

I have been having them since I was born I been on meds off an then on. I been on meds you take when you start to feel one but can't take them cause when I have a headache coming up I can't take mint stuff. An now I'm on topiramate 25 mg. I take 2 pills sid before bed time. They work really good at one time but now just not working. I'm 19 an I cant take the headaches an being sick an not knowing when one will come. Now what am I to . Cause Idk having test an meds are not helping an finding out why I still have headaches an severe migraines

I have had 2 cat scans an I had watch what I eat ... Anything really can set off a Lil headache.. if I get mad or cry I can get one .. to much sleep lights sounds smell movement.. now food is just bad I don't know what it is but I can eat it an the next day I'm sick in bed with a bad migraine.. I have to have the room dark cold an no sounds an a rag on my head . My mom an dad both have them .. an I have the twice as bad as them. I'm to the point that ill just have those all my live. An i don't know what els to do now

How are you? What tests were done in the past? Aside from both preventive and acute medications, complementary medicine such as acupuncture may also help. A headache journal wherein possible triggers are identified and avoided may be beneficial also. If it persists, it is best that you inform your doctor about this for proper management.
