how can i help him?

my fiancee has had these terrible migraines for almost a year. they go through stages then disappear for 2 to 4 weeks. they are terrible lately. im pregnant so the stress from that may be causing it but hes refuses to believe that it has anything to do with the baby on the way. the doctors have done extensive testing but none of them have the slightest clue. hes on some medications that seem to help somewhat. hes become immuse to over the counter pills like Tylenol and ibuprofen. now im not looking for a diagnosis im only trying to see if theres a way i can help him. has any one felt like this? what helped?
symptoms:
irratability
pain in joints
extreme back pain
dizziness
loss of sight
loss of appetite
slurred speach
sensitivity to sound
sensitivity to light
sensitivity to smell
trouble breathing
sense of euphoria
constant drowsiness

please him feeling like this is putting a strain on everything and it hurts to see him in this much pain.. if any one has any idea on how to help let me know.

Hi,

First and foremost I would suggest that your fiancée maintain a headache diary. This will be helpful in identifying the trigger for his migraines. The best treatment of migraine is identification and avoidance of trigger. Common triggers include red wine, MSG, artificial sweeteners, processed foods, aged cheese etc.
Magnesium deficiency is also known to trigger migraines and therefore magnesium supplements have been found to be very effective in treating migraines. You can discuss this with his treating doctor. Apart from these regular water intake, eating on time, adequate sleep and rest and deep breathing exercises will also help.
Thanks
