i think im dying

I have had this pressure in my head since the middle of October..there is not much pain with it,,,i do get tingling and numbness with it and some dull pain, anyway Im going to see my doctor AGAIN for like the 12th time..so I wanted to give her Ideas on what it could be...so if anyone could give me ideas I would really appreciate it...the head aches are constant 24/7, I was in a rollerblading accident in June not sure if that has anything to do with this, there is a little pain in my eyes, my body does twitch a little....I had an MRI/MRA done in september..i had a ct scan done about two weeks ago everything turned out fine. I saw a neurologist and he wants me to take b-12 injections because despite the fact that I am taking parental vitamins and the b 12 vitamin my body still didn't produce enough b 12, not sure if that could have anything to do with my headaches...also there was a time i went through a pretty rough patch in my life and I was pretty depressed, But i feel so much better now as far as anxiety and depression go.. my sinuses have also been check, Im 27 and have never felt like this before....so I am telling you everything about me...can anyone give any suggestions? Im not on any medication all the doctors want to do is ive me narcotics, But im not in much pain, just the pressure, its driving me crazy
im 27...yeah I do smoke but not much, I have 4 childrn yeah they stress me out a bit, But I have a lot of help with them..I dont feel like im depressed, i dont drink at all, I dont do drugs..

also I have tried Pain reliever but does not seem to help, this sounds crazy but when I lay down I my stomach it goes away

i have been told it all from nuropothy<sp to migraines PLEASE WHAT SHOULE I DO, I woke up this morning and the right side of my head feels like it fell asleep...god its driving me nuts

i dont feel depressed , the last couple of moths i have felf better then ever except for this head pressure

I have read many of these problems u are all having. I believe many of your problems are mental. I mean u make them worse by worrying. I know from past exsperiances if u think u have a numb head it feels more numbe. I once thought I had a heart problem just couldn't shake it. The more I thought my heart was bad the more my heart seemed to hurt. I think the mind is a very powerfull thing. And who better to convince u there is something wrong but yourself. I find a strong faith in god helps. The next time u feel worried scared or strange symtoms try and convince yourself u are fine and it is all in your head. I have had some success in this and have had symtems leave as quick as they came. The mind can truly heal itself. Mind over matter. It can't hurt it seems u have tried everything else. Try self healing and god bless all of u. I hope u can do it

Hi...sorry I have no idea. But I agree with ur dr...get another MRI done.Request a copy of the disk and the report when u r at your appoint.

I would ask that the MRI is done w/wo contrast.

Is this a PC suggest u redo the MRI or a NS, or NL?

Stress can casue alot of these symptoms also...so try and relax and go to ur dr.

Godspeed

Hi,

Thanks for writing in.
It will help to know where exactly do you have tingling numbness. These symptoms can occur due to diabetes, Vitamin deficiencies and nerve compression. Whiplash injury due to accidents can result in cervicogenic headache. Cervicogenic headache is a chronic one sided headache, which gets worse on neck rotation and active neck movements.
Since all your tests including CT scan, MRI, MRA and neurological exam has been normal; the likelihood of serious neurological disease is almost negligible.
I would suggest you to do some breathing exercises everyday eat on time, drink plenty of water.

Hope this helps!

Hi, may I ask...are u overweight. Do u know if ur BP is high?

Ask ur dr to check to see if u have intercranial hypertension.
It is also known as pusedotumor cerebri. It is an abnormal amount of CSF that builds up...ur body does not absorb the fluid.

It is possible that u can have something else....I am not a dr....just something to ask ur dr when u go.

Good luck
