left dide of head is painful

hi,
i am 27 yrs old male, 3 days ago i felt pain in the left side of my head and feeling of numbness too. it seems that something like a vein is very painful,,i dont have any idea what it is! i cant concentrate of my work becoz of this pain and i easily forgot things...can you help me??is it because of stress or hangover???

How are you? Can yo elaborate on the character of the pain? Was there a previous trauma to the head? One-sided throbbing headaches are usually associated with primary headaches such as migraine. Hemiplegic migraine, one of the rare variants of migraine may present with numbness also and it is best that you have this checked by your neurologist for proper evalaution. Stress and hangover can also be a factor especially if alcoholic drinking is common. Rest and both abortive and preventive prescription medications usually help. Take care and do keep us posted.
