I have been having headaches for years (10 years or so, from age 10 to age 20). Normally they are not a sharp headache. Just a headache that I can feel all over my head but mostly in the area over my occipital and parietal bones. They are very frequent, to the point that it just seems like a way of life. They are accompanied by light headedness, sometimes slight verdigo and some nasia. Recently, when I have my headaches, I sometimes have trouble thinking of words that I want to say and I sometimes have trouble comprehending what others say to me. Losing my neak and head muscles doesn't seem to help. Changing the things I eat and eating healthier doesn't seem to prevent them either. I am wondering what type of headache I have. what causes these headaches?
Thank you for your concern.
Your headaches could be tension headaches. The commonest cause is stress. Other causes are sleep deprivation and eye strain. So, if you can't read from a distance, you can try glasses. ( Or do you wear spects ? )
For your headache, medicines like Amitriptyline and Mirtazapine can help. They are antidepressants, but work very well for headaches.
