Hi,
Migraine is a chronic condition of recurrent attacks of headaches which are described as intense, throbbing or pounding pain that involves the temple, forehead, around the eye, or the back of the head. Associated symptoms include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, cold hands, sensitivity to light and sound. This usually lasts between 4 and 72 hours.Pain medications may help provide relief. Although it is recommended that triggers should be identified to avoid future recurrences .
Take care and best regards.
Those are not common symptoms of migraine at all. There are some rare symptoms of migraine and they can be what you have described BUT what you described could also be very serious and not related to a migraine at all. If these are new and undiagnosed symptoms it is very important that you get immediate medical attention.
You need to go to the hospital emergency department immediately if:
- You were unconscious for more than 1 minute.
Immediate medical attention means you need to call or see a health care professional immediately and you need immediate medical attention if you have any of the following symptoms:
- If you do not know where you are or you cannot recognize family members or familiar items.
- If you have decreased alertness and a severe headache (like you mentioned)
You need to see a health care professional today if you have had any of the following symptoms:
- You fainted but feel fully alert now and have no other symptoms.
