mild blurred optic disc

Hello,

I recently reviewed my Neuros notes regarding my past two visits.  He stated that there was mild blurriness in the left optic disc.  As well, he indicated mild bilaterial pallor.  Is this of some concern?

Hi,

Blurriness of the optic disc indicates paplilledema. This is the early sign of papilledema where blurring of the optic disc margins occur. It will help us to know your symptoms as these findings have to be correlated with your clinical symptoms. The symptoms of papilledema include headache, blurry vision and constriction of the visual fields.

Hope this helps!
