mild cortical atrophy

My son of 15 months old is reported of having mild cortical atrophy.I am worried about his growth.Does he have problem with memory when he grows ?

How is your son? What other symptoms or medical conditions are present?  There are studies that associate cortical atrophy in infants with failure to thrive ( ref: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2012558/?page=1). It is best that you discuss the result with your doctor for proper evaluation.
