miss

I just experienced kalaedascope vision whilst in a brightly lit dept store.I have been really busy at work all day and on the computer pretty much all day. I do suffer from headaches but have had at least 3 really good nights sleep to date so sure it's not tiredness.
I did not feel dizzy, faint or sick - just loss of control of what I was seeing and not sure which vision was the main one to try to focus on.
At work there are severe overhead lights that I have asked several times to have turned off above me so I don't get headaches - but with no joy.
Is this just the sign of a migraine on it's way?

It is a kind of migraine.  When I get the light show I don't end up with the headache.  When I was young I just got the headache part with nausea, etc.
