morning headaches

Hey all
I am so confused as to why I am getting headaches every morning waking me up! I have hermicrania continua and some sinus issues to top it off but I am at a loss as soooo frustrated! I see my headache specialist today so we will se. I like some input as to anyone who has this issue with waking up with headaches. Its really ***** to start your day with this and im sure there is something that could be done!

I too wake up with headaches everyday... : (  I also have sinus issues and have to use a nose spray every night so I can breathe.  I know that if I wake up hot this is an instant trigger so I make the family sleep with the air super low to try and avoid it.  I was diagnosised with an Arnold Chiari Malformation and had a craniectomy in Nov.  Apparently the outflow of my spinal fluid was completely blocked.  Having the surgery has made the almost daily severe headaches somewhat less frequent but I still seem to wake up with them almost everyday.  I have also tried so many of the meds to prevent them which don't work.  I do see a pain mgmt dr next week so hopefully she will have some suggestions!!  Sorry I couldn't help more.....I would like to know if you find anything that helps!!
