my aunt suffers from migraines

hi.  my name is christie and my aunt suffers from migraines and they can't seem to find out how to stop them.  she has a varicose vein in her brain is what they said.  she had a seizure 6 or 7 months ago and ever since then she has not been the same.   she suffers everyday with a migraine.  they have her on narcotic meds, seizure meds, depression meds and nothing seems to help anything. she can no longer work because she spends most of the time in the bed.  her memory has been affected and sometimes/most of the time she can't really walk steady like a normal person would.  is there a procedure that can take this away or something to get rid of the headaches?  she was told that the vein builds pressure then leaks and thats what caused her seizure.  please help me.  i miss my aunt and want her to have her life back again.

How is your aunt? Migraine headaches usually respond to both preventive and abortive medications and avoidance of the triggers that may be responsible. It is important the underlying cause is identified fore proper treatment. Imaging studies such as MRI or CT scan may also help. Take care and do keep us posted.
