Hi,
Migraines may present with auras and usually these may be visual symptoms ( blurring of vision), numbness and slurring of speech. The best thing now is to have a neurologic appoinment done so that a complete neurologic examination may be done. Migraines are usually given as a diagnosis when all other underlying conditions have been ruled out. A seizure disorder such as partial seizures ( which may present also iwth neurologic symptoms) have to be excluded. A EEG and a scan may help.
I have the same problem- my head has been hurting for a week and I smell something burning all the time. Did you ever find any information out about this?
Laura
I can't say that it is, I can only describe it as a burning smell, but I can't really relate it to my migraines as I get it more often than not at some point most days.
Is it kind of an almond smell?
