Have you seen a doctor?

Hi,

Hope you are feeling better.
It is important to rule out temporal arteritis in your case. Temporal arteritis is an inflammatory disease of the blood vessels which most commonly involves the temporal arteritis. There is thickening of the blood vessels which can be felt as a lump. This condition is associated with headache and scalp sensitivity.
Your symptoms could also be due to acute stress which can cause headache and throbbing of the temple vein.
I would suggest you to consult your PCP and in the meantime take OTC pain killers to relieve the headache. Take care!
