subarachnoid cyst in posterior fossa

This large cyst is in the cisterna magna. I am 60, female and have known about this cyst for 17 years. My symptoms are getting worse. Headaches, dizziness, balance problems, visual problems and missing periods of time. UC Davis can't find my original MRI, I'm giving you the results of the current one. There is no midline shift present and the internal auditory canals bilaterally are normal in appearance. There are no unusual enhancing masses present. The basilar cisterns are normal. No hemorrhage and no unusual enhancing masses are seen within the internal auditory canals or within the brain. I don't like the idea of waiting a year to see if this cyst grows, it is currently 3.2x5.0 cm in the axial plane. Is there any reason why microscopy surgery can't be used to remove this cyst ? What treartment is available? I realize this should be addressed by a neuro-surgeon, can this be forwarded to the right person?
