I have had a headache for about a week now. I am from high elevation (8000 ft), and moved to Colorado (6000 ft). i felt not-well for about a week, took a two week vacation to sea level, and upon returning to CO, i have had a headache. it worsens to about medium level pain or reduces to tension/threat on and off, usually reducing while i sleep, or when i am fully hydrated and eat a lot and don't go outside or move or speak much. I also incidentally have wisdom teeth coming in--straight from what i can tell--but that's just from what they feel/look like so far. I have no health insurance or dental insurance and live at a very low income. I also don't own proper furniture, so i sit on a bed all day (posture?) Two other people i live with report having a tight jaw (which seems to be where the headache is stemming from and spreading to head/eyes/nose/tight in neck). So i'm not sure if it's fall allergies, posture, elevation, wisdom teeth, or a combination of these. Ibuprofen only help when it's at tension level, and not when it's a true headache. Heat helps, so does massage, so at least part seems tension-related, or to have become tension-related. Does anyone have any ideas how i could isolate the source, fix the problem, etc.? While I am headache-prone to begin with, i have never had a headache go on for a week before. Any help is appreciated.
Thank you,
Lorelei
