wreck

In 2004 I was involved in an accident. I suffered a Hangman's fracture, and concussion. my only memory is waking up in the hospital 3 days later with a halo on. Ever since the accident I have headaches constantly. Sometimes I can't even get out of bed. I've been to doctors. No help. maybe I just haven't found the right one. I really could use some relief. I also have neck pain, and the muscles in my shoulders burn. any suggestions?

when I was released from rehab they gave me excercises to do. I did them. I have done massage therapy. That helped when I was there. after I got home the pain and everything returned. I"ve had laser light therapy. I realize that I am very fortunate to be alive as well as walking around. I also realize that I will never be the way I was before the accident. I would just like to get some relief from the pain, headaches.

What kind of physical therapy did you receive after your accident?  You're muscles remember for a long time when something happens to you.  They could still be tense from that.  You may need relaxation therapy as well as massage therapy.  Getting into an accident like that is no small matter.  We expect our bodies to bounce back just because nothing is broken anymore.  It dosen't work that way.
