Hi,
Thanks for the updates. How is your eye? Aleve or Naproxen belongs to a class of drugs called nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) indicated for the management of mild to moderate pain, fever, and inflammation. However, the usual adult dose is 250-500 mg twice daily using regular naproxen tablets and it should be given with food to reduce upset stomach. If you have been taking 3 tablets daily, I recommend that you discontinue this because there is also one type of headache that is induced by medication overuse. Check with your doctor for proper management. Prescription medication may be indicated also. Hope to hear from you soon.
Hello!
Yes I have been taking 3 Aleve's daily.
Hi!
I've noticed that the vein that we have in the middle of the eye and nose is swollen and it gets worse with my headaches (is also on my right side.) When I was 7yrs old I fell off a hammock and hit my head really hard, I did pass out but that was it. When I went to see my family doctor he checked for everything, I don’t even have high blood pressure and the only thing he could come up with was that its caused due to stress. I am getting worried, my headache will not go away and I am taking Aleve on a daily basis. Thanks for the information given.
Do not make a habit of taking any pills for headache ...........strongly recommend use balm instead......work as magic.......what i think,you have migraine....
about blood spots my elder sister too have but doing fine...;;
"personal suggestion--give rest to your eyes every one hour while you are in office..and at home ice pack....
How are you? Are there other symptoms present? Do you have a personal history of head trauma or medical conditions such as hypertension? A subconjunctival hemorrhage usually occurs when a small blood vessel breaks open and bleeds near the surface of the white of the eye. This may be attributed to sudden increases in pressure such as violent sneezing or coughing, hypertension or those that take blood thinners. This condition usually resolves after a few days. If it persists, you another ophthalmologist's opinion and see a neurologist for proper evaluation. Direct clinical examination and additional diagnostic tests may be done to determine the underlying cause. Take care an do keep us posted.
