Positive and negative experience

I had a Mirena IUD in 2003, after my third delivery and loved it. In 2008, I replaced it and the experience has not been very good. I have bacterial infections constantly, lots of discharge and spotting, and the last couple of weeks, contractions. A trip to the OB/GYN showed I also had cysts on my ovaries (another side effect).

Since my hubby had a vasectomy last year, I'm going to ask the dr. to remove it. I liked it the first time because I had no side effects and no period. I've also had fatigue and noticed someone else also had that, so maybe it will help on that end.
