bleeding after mirena

Yes! I 2 have had problems with the mirena. I just got it inserted a few weeks ago! And im still bleeding. I knew that I could have unusual spotting here and there, but not to this extent. ive also had a few headaches since the insertion as well. I didn't know that half of the side effects that people have been experiencing were even a factor. Like tubal pregnancies! or the mirena lodging into another organ! All of these things I found out after the insertion. I have 3 kids and have had a miscarriage before so like many other woman I opted for the iud in order to help prevent pregnancy! and to think not only can u still get pregnant, but the bleeding! makes me want to practice abstenance!
