can it affect him

So I have had my mirena for a year now, never had any issues. My boyfriend has recently started to get " sores" so to speak that look like cuts from my strings I remain very dry during sex no matter what we use to help supplement this. He is wondering if it could be something more but both he and I are clean. I have no issues bumps or reddness anywhere down there and he within the last month has had a bump on each side of his head and a cut underneath
Any advice?

My husband said he felt strings sometimes, i asked dr to cut them shorter and he did. He still feels them but not uncomfortable. Good luck

I've had mine for about 18 months. Just in the last month or so my guy can all the sudden feel my wires. He doesn't have any marks but sometimes he is so sensitive to then he has to stop.  We haven't tried a condom but my friend said that has helped them for now. Also different positions seem to help him not feel the wires. In the last 10 months I've noticed I don't get very wet during sex,  were you dry before Mirena or after?
