10 weeks of bleeding

At 10 weeks pregnant I was told I had had a missed miscarriage at 7.5 weeks. I was set home from the hospital and left for it to happen naturally. I began miscarrying a week later (18.12.15). I had a scan on the 23.12 to see if it had all passed and another on the 30.12. The scan showed no signs of any baby products left inside so was told to take a pregnancy test two weeks later if still bleeding.
I continued to bleed heavily for the next two weeks. I took a preg test on the 13.1.16. It was positive. The EPAU told me to take another on the following week. I did and it was negative so they discharged me even tho I told them I was still bleeding. They said it was probably by period. The following week 23.1.16 I made an appointment o see my gp as I was still bleeding. She referred me for yet another ultrasound scan. That happened 3 weeks later on the 15.2.16. The scan results came back inconclusive yet. I stopped bleeding for 2 days 20.2-21.2.16 but on the 22.2.16 it all started again. I am now being referred to a gynocolgist.
Has this happened to anyone else? It is really starting to get me down now as I can't move on and leave it behind me.
