2 miscarriages in the last 3 months

My question is I had a miscarriage jan 1st of this year and just recently this month. Both times I was about 4 weeks. This time my hcg isn't going down just a couple points at a time. If I waited 3 months before trying again. Do u think I will miscarry for the 3rd time. I really want another baby. But I know it is to soon right now. Due to back to back miscarriages.

So I demanded my progestrone to be tested it came back 1.1 do u know if that is low it sounds low. She said it was normal but how I have read everywhere that a pregnant woman should have a min of 12. I understand they said I miscarried but I still have hcg in my body so shouldn't my progestrone be somewhat higher because of the pregnancy

Some drs don't believe in low progesterone for some reason.  Crazy but true.  I had one of the several I've been through(went through several drs when ttc #3) tell me that supplementation doesn't help.  I argued with him that it most certainly does, that's why my kids are here.  Sometimes drs can be so dumb!  Good luck.

That's what I think could be wrong with me but she refuses to test it. I don't know why though.

I had two m/cs in a 4 month period before I got pg with my first son.  The only reason they could find was low progesterone.  I have been on supplementation with all my pregnancies.  Glad you are getting a new dr.  Sorry for your losses and good luck.

Im sorry about your losses. Yes I have asked my ob to check my progestrone she refused. Also refused me asking for a 2nd ultrasound. My levels are dropping very slowly. March 26th 46 two days later 23 9 days later 38 two days later 35 and 3 days later 33. She is taking the er's doctors word for it with not having ectopic or molar pregnancy and no need for d &c because nothing is in my uterus. I am in the process of getting a new ob because she just doesnt care. She told me my first miscarriage was because it was to soon. Which is impossible when my last baby was 2 years ago. I can understand this one because i just miscarried jan 1st. It's so hard to keep going through this specially when you have no idea what is wrong. I have 3 beautiful children never had a problem all c-section. I just wish i could get some answers. She told me to wait 6 months before trying again but that is also coming from someone that is trusting a er doctor.

I would talk to your doctor about Progesterone suppliments.  Sometimes if you are really low it will cause you to miscarry very early.  If you get them checked with your OB doctor and they are low this is something that is easily fixed (two pills twice a day).  There are also LOTS of other things that could have caused it, most commonly chromosome abnormalities that are just not sustainable for life.  That is what my two miscarriages were and I only know that because I had a D&C and they were able to check out what happened.  Both babies were lost around 8 weeks pregnant via no heatbeat on the monitor.

I have had two (my most recent one yesterday) but had a healthy son in between.  I also have a good friend who had two for her first two pregnancy and her next three pregnancies were perfect!!  So it really doesn't mean all that much unless you have a diagnosed condition.

Good luck to you!!!  I know how extremely hard it is.  I woke up today feeling awful and awaiting another D&C tomorrow so I'm still carrying the baby at the moment.  God bless!!
