Hi! I had a MC with d&c on March 9th. so I'm 5 weeks postop. Anyways, 2 weeks post I was still testing faintly positive, with negative tests weeks 3 and 4 and 2 days ago. About 10.days ago, maybe 2 weeks, I starting feeling like my period was going to start (moodiness, acne breakout, etc), which lasted a few days but I have yet to get my period. When should I test our even expect to get my period? I've been having sex 3x/week since 1 week after d&c.
Just a note, my doctors instructions were sex is ok after bleeding stopped for a week. I only spotted for a day. I'm a registered nurse and I know my body, but thanks for the comment.
Your not suppose to have sex for 4 weeks after d&c, its a good thing you haven't got infection! I got my period back 5 1/2 weeks after my d&c. Maybe wait one more week to see if you start and make a doctor appointment if you haven't started to see if they can do a blood test and find out if your pregnant again.
