AM I OVULATING??

I HAVE BEEN TRACTING MY OVULATION AND BBT.  WELL I AM NOT SEEING ANY SHIFTS IN MY TEMPS BUT I HAVE GOTTEN SEVERAL WHAT LOOKS TO BE POSTIVE OVULATIONS.  THE LAST ON I HAD WAS ON CD 16 AND WAS POSTIVE UNTIL CD18.  I AM THINKING THAT I WAS FOR SURE OVULATING BUT MY TEMPS ARE CRAZY.  I HAD TWO HIGH TEMPS BECAUSE I WAS SICK.  BUT MY TEMPS DROPPED THE NEXT DAY AFTER FEVER WAS GONE.  I WOULD HAVE EXPECTED IT TO STILL BE HIGHER BECAUSE OF ME OVULATING.  I AM GETTING VERY FRUSTRATED.  HAS ANY ONE HAD THIS HAPPEN OR DO YOU HAVE CLUE AS TO WHAT IN THE WORLD COULD BE GOING ON??  YOU CAN CHECK MY CHART IF YOU NEED TO!!  I AM GOING CRAZY!!

My only advice is to be careful.  High temps can cause miscarriages and all types of problems with your body.  Have you gone to the doctor? Sorry I am not much help.  I will be thinking about you.

the one thing that i did notice was that on cd10 i had cramps and some cm with pink in it.  i marked it as spotting.  i was thinking that was from ovulation but i was sick the other day and i had a for sure + on opk.  temps were crazy that day because of the flu.  i also noticed that i had a glob (sorry for info) of cm that was foamy and runny, almost like watered hand soap.  i was taking cough syrup so i don't know if that had anything to do with it.  i did have the 2 days in a row of for sure +opk but no temps.  do you think i should get another termometer?  i have taken my temps just randomly and done it again right after to see how close they'd be and they are like almost a full degree off.

It actually took me 5 months to have a normal AF after my m/c, meaning i did not have cm, but i did have the pain indicating i was ovulating.  I would say around CD14 start paying attention to your CM, use the opk's and try paying attention to see if you have any cramps on left or right side near ovaries. When you do get a positive opk normally 12-48 hours later a woman should ovualte. Check your cm and see if it is becoming ewcm(the eggwhite stuff)

You can continue to take your temps to see if they become more consistant.

My temps are everywhere too...fertility friend told me something is wrong because I have drastic temp fluctuations.  Everybody is different, and even if I take my temp at the same time, after the same exact amount of sleep I can get temps .5 degrees different.  I have only tracked it for 3 months and I have pretty much given up.  I had to change the ovulation detection method to opk, because it was never finding my ovulation by temp rise.  It is a tool to use with all of the other signs...cervix position, cm, opk's, and any other symptoms you may have.  The temp rise only confirms ovulation also...so it won't give you warning.  If you want to know beforehand opk's and physical symptoms you may notice are best.  Good luck!

i did have a mc in nov.  i had to have a d&c, i was 13 wks and measured 11wks 3days.  i take my temps at the same time each day or 15 mins 10 30 difference.  i think i am so into taking it i wake up and know i have to lay there and not move for a few more minutes.  i have never really gotten pains to let me know that i am ovulating.  i have been trying now for just this month.   before i got pregnant last time i was not using anything and just wait for it to happen and 2.5 years later it did.  i am starting to wonder if my termometer is screwed up??  last months af was crazy because that was just my second after mc and i was thinking that this time i would be straightened out.  i look at everyone elses and think i am a total lose cause with my temps everywhere!!

From looking at your chart and your AF cycles, you dont seem to have a normal/regular AF, bcuz you spot inbetween. Even med help is suppose to make a baseline of your temp and it has not done that, i assume bucz your AF is not regualr. Its hard for me to even pinpoint a baseline.

Also, do you take your temp the same time everyday, if not, that can affect the temp. I took my temp for almost 6 months and you could see a pattern. OPK's are not 100% accurate, just bcuz you get a postive it does not mean you are ovulating. Women always have a small amount of LH in there system all the time.

Do you have any other signs of ovulation, like pain near the ovaries, EW cervical mucus.
Didnt you recently have a M/C, how long have you been ttc, and did you use opk's in past

I dont no your whole story thats why im asking a few questions.

Hi there, i dont temp for that reason it make you guess. If your opk said positive then take that as you ovulated. Good luck.

I have never been one for tracking my ovualation I bdd everyday. There are a bunch of women on here full of advice for tracking and opks etc. I'm sure they will respond to your post. I wish you the best. Keep your chin up and don't get discouraged. Best wishes to you,
