Am I experiencing a miscarrage? Please help me!!

I have been brown spotting for the last week and couple days. The spotting is not much, just when I wipe. I also have small blood clots in the brown blood. I have been having hot flashes like crazy and my lower back hurts. No cramping or anything like that, but my period is two and a half weeks late. I have also had an increase in hunger. I only wiegh 100 pounds maybe, so i do not eat much at all. Lately I have been eating 6 or 7 times a day, sometimes more than that. Can I be pregnant, or are these the signs of a miscarrage? Please help me because im very scared to go to the doctor and find out. I dont know if I am strong enough for a miscarrage.

implantation bleeding can be brown. i had wat seemed like a light period, mostly being brown & even cramping when i found out i was pregnant. so take a test. & also being so underweight(dont know how tall u are) can affect ur health where a baby is concerned. so u need to find out if ur preggers so u can get the nutrition u need.

If your experiencing implatation cramps and bleeding, or fertilization, a pregnancy test will work in about 2 weeks. do you when you ovulated? most women will ovulate about 2 weeks before they have their period and a pregnancy test will usually show a few days before or after their missed period. The sharp pains kindof sound like ovulation, I have sharp pains and period like cramps when I ovulate and it usually feels like I am about to start my period right then and sometimes it's more painfull than my period, (stabbing shooting pains). When I was pregnant both times, the cramps were in my uterus or about and inch under my belly button (miscarried both times). The last time i miscarried I didn't go to the doc and now i have missed my period and I have to deal with the fear of knowing that something may be wrong and if something is wrong I'll have to wait that much longer before trying again. I was able to talk to my doc on the phone and she told me if no period in 1 week to re-test and I have to come in Immediatley if pos. Hope 3rd times the charm

Thank you for the advice. Yes I have taken three pregnancy tests and they have all come up negitive. But now im having sharp stabbing pains in my stomoac near my ovaries. ???? I know its not a crazy period because my periods are never late and they are always really really heavy. I heard that it might be fertilization so im not quite sure. If thats the case, the pregnancy tests wont show up possitive for like another 6 weeks. Im hoping im pregnant, but if its a miscarrage, I would rather not know. you know?

Have you taken a pregnancy test? It could be a crazy period or you could be pregnant if you've had sex. If you are pregnant it could be a sign of miscarriage, but bleeding in early pregnancy is common so it could just be nothing. Buy a pregnancy test and if it's positive go to the doc. If it's negative and you haven't started your period then test again in a week. If the bleeding picks up you might want to go to the doctor just to make sure everything is okay. Don't be scared to go to the doc. They are here to keep us healthy and reasure us.
