Am i going to have another miscarriage HELPP

Ok so im 5 weeks and a few days pregnant. Yesterday i had intercorse with my partner in the morning and when he withdrawed he had some blood on his penis. I also had some blood when i whiped after going to the toilet. After that, i had no more blood or anything untill six oclock at night but it wasnt blood it was brown discharge. I have had this discharge ever since intercorse. But my other worry is that i dont realy feel pregnant anymore.  I normaly always feel like i need a wee but i havent had that feeling today. I also have been having some wierd cramping only in my right hand side which comes for a few seconds about 4 times a day. I have permanent pain on my left hand side as i have a cyst. I have a scan tomorrow but i didnt have a heart beet at my last scan which was three days ago so i dont know how this scan is going to help me. They took my blood today and said my hormone levels had risen since last week but they had nothing to compare it to. I am very worried and just want to fulward my life a few days to see if everything goes ok. I honestly cant wait to miscarry or wait to know im gonna be ok ! The doctor said its good ive got brown discharge as its not fresh blood and aparently some women experience spotting after sex. But how long does the brown discharge go on for ? i I would also like to mention i had a miscarriage last november folowed by a D&C opp. Help me please ! Thanks

i m sorry to hear yours ended badly .. hope you re doing ok after it, was it your first pregnancy?  i just wanted to ask you how long did it take for the blood to turn from pink to bright red?  the first time it happened to me was around 5 1/2 weeks and it was really brownish  but the last time about 4 days ago (i m 7 weeks yesterday) it was red but i ve had nothing since we had sex (and now i m scared to have sex anymore!)  i was hoping to have my first pre-natal visit today but its a long weekend so i won t be able to go until tuesday now.(also i m overseas at the moment so have to find a new gp)
when i miscarried last year i had a tiny bit spotting a day or two i started bleeding heavy,
i had a D & C and also had the LEEP procedure done last july and have once or twice had midcycle spotting since then.   (before all that i never had any spotting or anything different to a 28 day cycle)
do you think its possible my cervix is just over sensitive (more blood going to it due to pregnancy?)
anyway i know i m over thinking it too much!

This just happended to me as well the day after me and my husband had sex but didn't end well at all. As long as the blood is light pink or brownish that means it is not fresh blood. Mine turn from light pinking to dark bright red blood and I knew something was wrong. I had the pain in my side so I knew my body was trying to do something like it was trying to hold on. Don't stress this will only cause more problems so as long as you don't get red blood you should be fine, brown means it is old blood that might have been brought down from intercourse. Good Luck and I hope everything is ok!

I don t really know what the answer is but I experience the same thing and was wondering how you were doing?  did you see the heartbeat on your last scan?   I m almost 7 weeks I think and at around 5 weeks after sex I had brown discharge and it s happened a couple of times since and sometimes its been red blood but only after intercourse and trails off over a few hours and then just turns to pinkish when i wipe
I had a miscarriage (at 7 weeks - blighted ovum) and am worried this will be the same.
But i feel completely different this time - my last pregnancy i was sick at 4 weeks and my symptoms were really strong and then slowly wore off so i figure the fetus stopped developing around 4-5 weeks.Anyway this time I ve only started getting nausea just after 6 weeks and sometimes have tender breasts. wondering when i should go for my first appointment / ultrasound?
