Been a year since m/c, and still not pregnant

So i miscarried on 9/29/07, almost a year, and i am still not pregnant.  What could be wrong?  I plan on seeing my doc the 13th for my annual check up, and i am hoping he can give me some answers.  Is this normal?  Could something be wrong?  I got pregnant after 3 months of trying, and now nothing.  This is making me very depressed, and fear the worst is wrong with me. Has this happened to anyone before?

This process of "trying" is very frustrating.  It took us 1.5 years to get pregnant and then I had to have a D&C in August- pregnancy was not viable.  I am trying to be positive about the future, but i must admit my disappointment is overwhelming.  I would suggest getting some tests done to check on things.  Good Luck.

Thanks so much for those kind words.  I appreciate it. It is very frustrating, and i am  out of ideas. I do hope my doc know what to do. I am sure he will. I was checking my BBT and charting every thing. But i gave up 6 months after the m/c. I became very discouraged and depressed. Couldn't take the disappointment anymore. I hope there is nothing wrong, and all i need is some time. We will see.  Thanks!

I know how frustrating this can be.  I have been trying again for 5 months and nothing.   I know it has not been a year, but the waiting is killing me.  Are you doing the ovulation testing?  I am continuing on the prenatel vitamins and prescribtion folic acid and treating my body as if it were pregnant.  I do know alot of people that it just takes a while.  I was actually at a bbq yesterday where this couple had a 6 year old girl, a five year old girl and a one year old girl.  They had tried everything for 6 years to have a child, even fertilility drugs and injections.  Finally they gave up after 5 years and then she got pregnant.  It is so hard to tell why.  Your dr. well know more.  I just wanted to tell you that you are not alone.  Good luck!
