Confuse

I just recently found out that I may have a miscarriage. The hosipital calls it an incomplete miscarriage. They ran a few tests. They found that my HCG level was 4710, but they did not find any embryo or sac (nothing). So the doctor sent me home and told me to come back in 48 hours. Now today I am suppose to go back at 5:00 to retake the blood test. If they find my HCG level to be lower then they will assume that I am having a miscarriage, but if the opposite I am still pregnant. Right now I am minor cramping and bleeding. My question? Is the doctor just suppose to send me home with the pill or I am suppose to go through the entire procedure. I do not think it safe to leave whatever is left inside my body. Should I go see a different doctor?

Hey there faith, i too had a incomplete miscarriage beginning of december at 6weeks. I went in for a scan with bleeding, they saw only blood clots, no sac either. So i went back a week later, follow up to see if everything has expelled. therefore making it a complete miscarriage! And it had, it had all gone.
From what your explaining to me, and my experience, i would say your having a miscarriage! :( So sorry! If you are miscarrying it would be better for you to do it naturally, depending on how far you are along?! I was only 6weeks so....
But a d&c may b advised by your doctor. How did the HCG levels go?! Did u find out yet?!

My HCG level drop to 500. I did have a miscarriage, but it has made me stronger. I thank you for your comment. Bless you and your family. Hopefully one day I will be able to give birth to my own.
