Confused about cycle
I had a m/c Nov 9, I was approx 8 weeks preg. I miscarried naturally. I spotted on and off for 6 weeks after the m/c. I stopped spotting mid Dec then a little over 2 weeks later (Dec 23) had what I thought may have been my first AF, because it lasted for exactly 1 week with cramping. About a week and a half ago I felt like I was ovulating and then today I started AF AGAIN. So my cycle was only about 20 days long. Do you think the first time (Dec 23) was my first AF, or is there no way to tell? My hcg was 8 on Jan 2. My Ob/Gyn said that its a possibility that Dec 23 was my AF, but I wish I knew for sure because we want to wait 2 cycles before ttc again. I just need some advice, info, etc on whether you think its safe to start ttc again after the AF that I'm having right now. We are definitely ready emotionally, but I want to make sure that I'm physically ready as well. For those of you pregnant after a m/c, how long did you wait to ttc again? Any advice/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I just dont want to have to go through that again and want to make sure I've done all I can to prepare and heal before ttc again. Thanks!!
Thank you for the encouragement. I have been trying to stay really positive lately. It definitely is a nightmare. I hope you are right about getting my bfp sooner than later! Do you suggest just BD'ing every other day for the rest of my cycle, since I have no idea when I'm going to ovulate? I just don't want to miss it when I do ovulate! Thanks!
I would still ask to get your blood re drawn. If this is a period start ttc right away. I ttc everyday for a month. I'm not sure about opks I never used them but alot of girls on here have. Are bodies go though a war having a m/c not only emotionally but physically too., It really is a nightmare but the best thing you can do is stay positive. You will get your body back to normal and get your bfp sooner than later. Best wishes to you. Let me know what happens and just know if you need to talk I'm always here.

My hcg was 8 when I had my first AF, thats why I was confused if it was AF or not, because I always thought your levels had to be back to normal to have AF again, but my dr said it was most likely my AF and now I'm on my 2nd AF and she said we can start ttc again after this one. If that really was my first AF, then my 2 periods were only 3 weeks apart, but I guess your cycles and get all weird after a m/c. We will start ttc again the next time I ovulate. Does this mean I'm going to ovulate at a weird time too? I have no idea how many days a cycle is for me, so I have no idea when to start my OPKs and to start BD'ing this month. I can usually tell when I ovulate but I dont want to miss it this time!
I'm sorry for your loss. I have had 6 m/cs and I had one and I bleed/ spotted for 10 wkls and ended up with a d and c. I'm not sure it there would be anyway to tell if dec was af unless you had your blood drawn after your m/c to make sure your levels went down to zero. Also 8 seems alillle low for a pg so it could have been another m/c. I really don't think so but you should ask your dr for an u/s to make sure your body expelled all of your pg you don't want to run the risk of an infection. I hope I'm not scaring you. i am glad you can start to try again soon. I think it was my first a
AF in december because i had soore boobs the week before and that happen all the time before my AF. so I just will wait for another cicle and I will be trying again as well. I really hope next time we will be lucky. keep me inform how the things are going for you.

I just talked to my dr and she said that this is my 2nd AF and that we can start ttc again after this AF. Do you think that was your first AF at the beginning of December?
hello there and vey sorry for your lost . i am also waiting for my period to arrive and then TTC again.
i had two very early miscarriages this year and my periods are going mad since then. I miscarriage the last time at the end of october , bled for two weeks, then start to bled again beginig of december for few days only. i really hope to get it soon . i am going to my doctor in spain the 3rd of february. I think this time i want to wait until my period became normal. this is what i was told by few experts. they told me to wait up to 4 or 5 months.
