Could I be pregnant?

I began to miscarry on Apr 22 but it was not known or confirmed until Apr 28. I was suppose to be 10.5wks but the baby had stopped growing at 8wks. I passed everything on Apr 29 but my bleeding & cramping did not stop until May 7. My question is could I have ovulated a few days after everything passed like on May 1? I felt the normal pain that I have during ovulation but most ppl say they dnt ovulate til 2wks after. I didn't on my 14th day. On May 20, i experienced those same ovualtion pains in the left side of my abdomen so me & my husband went for it. I want to know could I be pregnant? & if so is it to early to tell since I did not pass the baby until Apr. 29? How long should I wait to test?

The best advice I can give is to advise you to see your OB. They are the only ones that will be able to tell you if you ovulated or if you are pregnant. Did you get your blood drawn during your m/c to make sure your levels got >5 ? If there is still HCG in your system from the last pregnancy you could take a HPT and get a false positive. Not to scare you but I lost my first baby at 9 weeks and when I got pregnant 2 cycles later I lost that baby too. If your not pregnant I would definitely give your body time to heal before you try again. You need proper time to grieve your first loss as well. If I could go back I wish we would have waited longer to ttc after our first m/c. Now I feel we are only going backwards instead of moving forward. Good luck.
