D&C Or Pill after already taking the pill once

I lost my baby at 8 wks and went on to take the pill Miso which seemed to work nicely as I was well prepared for what was to come next.  I was bleeding heavily for two days when i passed my baby and then a week of spotting and light bleeding.  A week later I went for an U/S and the doc told me I have a piece of clot 1.5 cm still in me.  She said i could take the pill or D&C.  I am not sure which way to go.  Any women face the same dilemma where they had a piece of tissue still stuck in them??? Please help.
