Early miscarriage TTC

Hi,

I have been married for one n a half years and we both were ttc from past 9 months .This was my first pregnancy. Despite of having regular periods everything normal i had a missed abortion during 7th week due to no HB and it felt like i have lost everything my heart got shrinked after listening the doc's opnion we immediately went for second opinion but all in vain. I was suggested to go for a d&c on 22 dec Afterwhich i did not bled much but small spotting continued for 15 days and then completely stopped. Then i went for my first check up after a month and doc gave me a medicine to start off my periods since it was delayed and i finally got my periods on 30th mar after that i went to my gynae to consult for ttc and i was hoping i will get a clean chit now to conceive again since i was feeling much better but to my surprise she asked to start a bcp for one month and then try . When i asked why to use this i want to conceive asap and all my reports are clear she told me, i just want to regularize your cycle which will ease your next pregnancy.

I'm in to so much depression after that it again felt like my dream is broken once again. dono what to do i just didnt want to take that medicine and wanted to conceive right away since i see so many success stories of next pregnancy after misscarriage but upon so much hot discussions with my husband and upon everybody's counselling i started to take bcp and somewhere in the corner of my hear im desparetly waiting to conceive asap and fear that this will not happen again. If anyone understands my situation pls advise what should i do?

So sorry to hear the bad news. My husband and I have been married almost a year now too and we wanted to get pregnant right away and finally did to have our dreams crushed as well and had a miscarriag 2 days ago. I am still bleeding and now that our bodies will take a few to get back on track. However, I read that due to the overload of hormones it is easier to get pregnant again. I understand your doctor is telling you to take the pill to regulate you but I think BC is evil and sometimes can cause more problems such as vaginal dryness, mood swings as well as not allowing you to get pregnant after you stopped them for over a month. I do not plan to take anything and will wait for my body to get back on track on its own and plan to start trying not this month but next month to give my body a break.
Good ways to getting pregnant again is buying ovulation strips to track the next time you ovulate that you can buy online to last several months for cheap. Buy a gel called pre seed that helps the sperm stay longer in the body, I got pregnant the first month with this and vitamins and no caffien or unhealthy foods. Best of luck and hopefully we both get back on track soon.

Sorry about your loss, I completely understand how difficult it is - I have had two myself. With my first I had to have a D&C since I was 10 weeks and did not show any signs of natural mc. It took me 2 months or so to get my cycles back on track and another 3 months to conceive again ( I had a difficult time determining my ovulation time).
I had my second lost January 30 and I just finished my first normal period after. I don't see my specialist until June 20 and my doctor strongly advised me to avoid pregnancy from now until then.
My advise to you would be to listen to your doctor and let your body get back on track. Think of what your body has been through, it may not be capable of holding another pregnancy right now and because of this if you were to get pregnant it may end the same way as you previously expereinced. It crushes me to have to wait too, I cry because of it, but I do know this is what's best for me and most importantly my future pregnancies.
I wish you all the best, good luck and stay strong :*)
