FSh test- please help

by Lilyb, Apr 02, 2009 09:48AM
Hi ladies,

I  have been posting in this thread eversince we started trying. I know that I should post this question in fertility thread, but no one replies to my posts there.
I went to my RE yesterday with my FSH and AMH test resukts. FSH=11.5, AMH=0.3. I went with hubby because I thought the RE looking at my test resut is going to suggest IVF immidiately. to my surprise he started to discuss my options with IUI, IVF and even trying naturally!! Then he went on to say he wouldnt recommend anything and leaves the option to me and my husband! do you think this was his way of saying I will be a low responder to IVF and IUI? I mean why would he even think that at 35, 3 miscarriages and with those test resuts trying naturally is even an option!! I am constantly analayzing what he said in my mind and am going crazy over this. Please let me know what you think of this conversation.

Thanks

I don't blame you I too would be going crazy. I personally dont' have experience with Ivf but one of my bff's had ivf twice and in her situation it worked out and she has 2 healthy beautiful girls. In my own experience I have suffered 6 m/cs my ob wouldn't prescribe even clomid unless we tried unsucessfully for 2 yrs, however I have 3 kids so they look at that too. In my opinion I would find a 2nd opinion. I would think you would have been given alittle more insight to your next step especially with time ticking away. Keep posting in the fertility forum they are bound to answer and what about asking a dr on here too? There are many women going through similiar situations that maybe able to give you some helpful info. I wish I could be more help. I'm here if you need to talk and if you need some help where to turn. Best wishes to you. Keep your chin up you will find your answers......
