Gen. testing on lost baby. What are your experiences

by Gabbster1, Oct 28, 2009 03:25PM
I had my second d and c today.  It was very sad.  The first one was a few months ago and we didn't do any testing on the baby.  Dr. said 75% of testing will confirm some chromosomal abnormality.  But since I had very similar issues with second baby, low progesterone and subchorionic hematoma, I wanted to see if there might be some other reason, perhaps clotting issue.  My husband was against it, but I just needed to know so that if it try again and it wasn't chromosomal, I can have a better plan-progesterone supps and aspirin.  If not, then I won't feel like I didn't start any treatment sooner for this baby and less guilty.  I would love to know what you have found by doing the testing. Thanks.
