Gluten intolerance affecting infertilty and PCOS

Hi all

For all those women ttc and with PCOs.  I have attached an article about gluten intolerance and how it can affect infertilty.  I also saw it on the news with women that had been trying for several years, they went off gluten and fell pregnant almost immediately.

In the article it also mentions how reducing gluten from your diet can minimise the effects of PCOS.

I hope you find it helpful.   http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art1507.asp

That would be really interesting.  You will have to let me know how you go.  It's amazing how your diet affects so much of what happens to you.  I thought I would mention it because my brother and sister in law tried for about 2 years before they fell pregnant with their son.  They then tried for another one but he is four now with no luck so they have given up.  I told her about this and she said that she remembers when she fell pregnant with Tipene she was on a diet.

Very interesting.

Very interesting. I am apparently gluten intolerant while not full allergic. I had been off gluten for awhile and had just been eating it again for about 3 weeks when I got pregnant in March. I had a miscarriage in May. It will be interesting to see if I get pregnant soon now that I'm off gluten for good! Thanks for the info!
