I just recently had a miscarriage my hcg levels were down to 30 on dec 20th I miscarried on the 25th through that week. Now about three weeks after the miscarriage my hcg levels were at 138 but then dropped down to 97 three days later does this meen I got pregnant and am going to miscarry again? :(
I am sorry for your loss. Why was your Dr. following your levels 3 weeks after the m/c? Did they never go down to zero after the 30 reading? Did you have a + pregnancy test recently and go to your Dr. for a blood draw? It could mean all sorts of different things depending on your story one of the explanations being a new pregnancy that is not viable, but a few other things too, if your levels never went to pre-pregnancy levels. Good luck and keep us up to date!
it was a naturall m/c my doctor told me to come back a few weeks after the m/c just to make sure everything was fine. After the miscariage I felt like I was pregnent again thats why they took the blood tests, I just feel hopeless, its so frustrating and they won't tell me anything yet I have to wait for them to call and make an appointment. it could be at least a week or more before I know antything.
If you don't know if your levels ever went down to pre-pregnancy levels it could be that you have retained tissue...that can cause fluctuations...it's hard to say since they never followed you all the way down. It's definately possible that you got pregnant 2 weeks after the m/c, but as you know dropping levels are not a good sign. You probably can't find anything out until you go in for your appointment. I am sorry, I know how stressful it is not knowing what's going on. I've been there and there's no worse feeling than sitting around waiting for the worst.
I'm sorry for your loss. On your loss in dec did your numbers go to zero? As for your hcg it's commonCommon cold for your numbers to be low I'm always low at the beginning of my pg. My dr told me the numbers are supposed to rise every 48-72 hrs. I would ask your dr to recheck your blood. It stinks playing the waiting game! I hate it. I know I can't make this better for you but I can offer some supportSupport Support 500 and a listening earEar barotrauma Ear discharge Ear emergencies Ear examination Ear tube insertion Ear tube insertion - series. I wish you the best. Please let me know what happens. For now please try to rest and relax just try to take it easy. Best of luck to you...

Hi again I got a call from my docter and it sounds like there still left over hcg hormones from the misscarriage. so at least I know whats going on, now down to 57, any idea how long it will take to get to zero.
I would be questioning my Dr. if i were you...having levels of 30 over a month ago and then levels of 57 now isn't right. If you had a complete m/c then your levels should have been at prepregnant levels a few weeks ago...and not higher than they were. I hope you get some more answers, because it sounds to me like they are missing something. When my levels were at 30 it took 2 days for them to reach non-pregnant levels.
