Hcg levels and hpt

Can you have a negative hpt and still have hcg levels in your system, from m/c.  I havent had my levels checked, i had d&c on the 17th, hpt tested positive on the 27th of june and now its negative as of today.  Does that mean i dont have any levels in my system or is there still a chance of having levels in system.

there is a chance that there might be some left but it would be very low.  once you get your period again, that is when you know your levels went back down to 0.

with my first d and c, it took 7 weeks to get my period back but with my 2nd one, it only took 2 weeks.

Sighssss, i am so waiting on AF to come, well it was bothering me so i go in 2mrw to get a blood draw, i think im going to get a new OB and PCF, why do they always act like they are paying for you labs or services, as long as my insurance pays for it, just do the test and try to accomodate my needs. I guess they forgot i had a m/c and im UPSET, wooo, ok better now.  TY leighanne.
