Help- bright red bleeding 23 days months after lapraoscopy and d&c

I had surgery on 16th October was diagnosed with mild endometriosis , before surgery i had suspected i had a miscarriage. I bled like normal after surgery. Then it stopped. My gyno said to continue my pill like normal although make sure i dont get my period. I bled anyways. Hormones crazy! I bled for 23 days straight. Went back to see him and he sent me for a ultrasound it showed a inflamed ovary but nothing else was  said i now have been bleeding extremely heavy bright bright fresh red blood and its not normal for me in pain off and on. And my pelvic area is really swollen. Has anyone heard of these issues 2 months after lap and d&c??
