How long after m/c did it take you to ovulate?

I read that it can be from 2 to 4 weeks, and I'm around my 3rd week. My cycles were regular before but only after being on clomid. I had a natural miscarriage and did not have to have a d&c or take that pill. I quit bleeding last Sunday after bleeding for 2 weeks. My doctor said I didn't have to wait to ttc, so I was wondering if anyone else has ever been in that same situation?

I was taking prometrium when I got pregnant the first time, and I was regular after my son was born.  I had a miscarriage in August, and I seem to have gotten back to normal this time also since I was able to get pregnant this month (I think).

I'm not necessarily ttc again, I was just wondering if anyone that was irregular became regular after their miscarriage, so when we are ready again I won't have to be on the Clomid. I am sorry for your losses :( Thank you for your responses!

I absoulutely agree w/ bam. I suffered a natural m/c on 9/14 and I took a hpt last week and one had 2 lines the other was dig and neg. I felt pg sore boobs etc. Now I'm bleeding I feel in my heart I was pg. I don't want to scare you but make sure you listen to your dr. I didn't and now I'm going through another one. I'm 32 I have had genetic testing done etc all negative. Right now I'm losing my mom to cancer etc. Stress. Please know all of us can get pg so you know you can just like Bam said let your body heal I didn't and here I'am going through it again. I'm sorry for your loss and please don't get offended or scared by what I wrote I just want to help and want to save you from any more pain. You have had enough. Take care and best wishes to you.Baby dust to you too.....

You will find alot of varying answers about when to TTC again.  Anywhere from 1 cycle to 3, depending on your doctor.  Mostly, from what I have read, they (dr's) don't want you to TTC till after your first cycle.  My understanding on this is because since you m/c they can't actually detect your ovulation date, or date the pg, making it harder to know how far along you are.

I don't know about O immediately after m/c.  But I do know that I had a natural m/c and got AF 4 weeks later and then O'd in that cycle.  Please give your mind and body time to heal from this loss.  Best of luck!!
