How long after miscarriage can one expect first period

Just checking if anyone who has miscarried remember when they got their period again? Does the miscarriage bleed stop completely before the period starts, or is it just one lobg continuous bleed for weeks?

Thanks for the headsup. This is all new (and shocking!) to me. So sorry to hear you went through miscarriage too but glad you were blessed in the end.

At the moment Im just feeling some pain (hurts when i sneeze/laugh or cough). My focus is to recover physically. Emotionally might take some time but we are optimistic that one day we will get our baby.

So sorry that u experienced a miscarriage.  I had 2 miscarriages in 2012. I was 3rd time lucky and gave birth to my 1st child in Feb of this year.

After a miscarriages it normally takes between 4 and 6 weeks to get your 1st period. If you have not had a period by 8 weeks, then you would need to see the doctors, but this rarely happens.

I got my period after 4 weeks, but every woman is different.

Hope you're feeling emotionally stronger. I so sorry you had to go through this.

Life can be harsh sometimes.

Keep strong. x
