I fell
I'm 12. Weeks pregnant and I slipped and fell on my back. Is my baby hurt? Help!

I fell down down the stairs from top to bottom. There was no carpet on the stairs as we moved in our new house, and my sock got caught on a piece of metal that was on my 1st step and i fell, but strangly enough i twisted around and i fell down on my back!
I was so scared and went to the hospital to get check out.
The doctor says the baby is very small and is very well cushioned in early pregnancy, so she was not overally concerned, however if you fell after 14-15 weeks, then i would be moe conerned, but at 12 weeks ur still in early pregnancy and baby is very small and protected by ur pelvic bone.
I feel ur baby should be fine, i can't say 4 sure, but i reckon u will be fine.
