Implanation bleeding after miscarriage??

Hi Ladies,

I had a miscarriage on 10th Feb and passed everything and I had a tiny bit of spotting for about 3 days after that then it stopped.  I had a check up with my OB/GYN a week later where she performed an ultrasound and told me that everything was back to normal.  Uterus looked good and ovaries look good too.  She told me that I was due to ovulate in about a week.  She said that I was fine to start trying again given that everything was back to normal.  Also I did a HPT later on that day (rather than get blood drawn) and it came back negative, so all good.  

So the next week I started taking OPK and got a postive result on 26th Feb.  Anyway today (so 7 days post ovulation) I noticed a tiny bit of brown/pink discharge.  I have never had this before.  My cycle is 33 days long and is very regular.  According to my 'normal' cycle my period isn't due until 8 days away.  So my question is, could this be implantation bleeding?  I didn't have this with my last pregnancy.  Or could it be that my cycle is just totally out of whack post miscarriage?  Is it possible to get a period 7 days post ovulation?  Anyway I will wait and see if the spotting continues to anything further....I hope not.  Anyone else had a similar experience?

Hi Heather, could it just be that you tested too early?  I'd be interested to know what your Dr. says.  Hoping all goes well.

It's certainly possible.  I conceived immediately after a m/c.  But keep in mind that after a loss your body can take some time to readjust, so breakthrough bleeding or spotting is also not uncommon.  Try a pregnancy test in a few days (an early response one) or ask for a beta.  Good luck to you.

It could be, but it could also not be. I lost my baby on 2/5, everything went back to normal within a week. Then I started spotting pink discharge on the tp 20 days after the m/c and have been doing it for over a week now. I thought (and hoped) it was implantation bleeding too, but it's not. Looks exactly like it though (had it with my last baby). They ran a beta hcg on me a couple days ago and it's negative. I'm seeing my dr. on Tues. to try and figure out what's going on. I hope yours *is* implantation bleeding, but if not don't be discouraged, I guess our bodies just do lots of wierd things after a m/c. I would call your dr. and request a beta just to see. hi, i did this time. i never had it before see i forgot to say i had 2 mc in a row one was on the 29th dec and the or on the 2nd feb. see i ovulation this month on the 16th and about 8 days later i had a little brown spotting but not alot . but i have just found out on monday i am pregnant again so fingers crosses this time.  so sorry for your lost and good luck this month..xx
