Is it possible

Missed a period thought I was pregnant. Took home test they all said no but still no period, Went to MD who did blood work and was told I was pregnant (6weeks). The very next week began to bleed. Nothing excessive but like a period MD said it is most likely a miscarriage but she would do levels. She did! Received a call that said that it was most likey a misscarriage cuz quantitiy per nurse was 65! Not sure what that means but she wants to test again in two weeks. Why am I do blood work again? Is it possible to still be pregnant after having what seems like a normal menstrual cycle when you thought you were pregnant?

LOL I am laughing because I am going through almost the same thing as you are. I took 2 home pregnancy test that cam back positive, went to the doctor for bleeding, they took a test and it said negative. I did bloodwork and the doctor called to say that my level was 10. LOL I don't know if that is because I am still so early and just having a cycle while I am pregnant or if I am miscarrying. I just went today to get more bloodwork also. I hear that lots of women still have cycles while pregnant, just go get the blood work. Good Luck!!!

They are probably wanting to do blood work again to check your hormone levels. The further along you are the higher the count is. A lot of women have cycles while they are pregnant.

Thanks. I do hope that it is just that! I so want to still be pregnant and not have suffered another miscarriage!
