I had a miscarriage at 5 weeks pregnant 2 weeks ago. I don't know why I miscarried but I am concerned it might be because I had a lot of sex before I knew I was pregnant within the first 2 weeks of pregnancy. And the last time I had sex before I miscarried I remember it really hurt. The question I would like to ask is is sex harmful to an unborn child at any stage of pregnancy or can sex cause miscarriage. If trying to conceive should i avoid sex at any time. Please help me !! x
I haven't heard sex would cause a miscarriage. Miscarriages are unfortunate but happen for many reasons, most out of our hands. Take care of yourself.
My OBGyn told me sex does not cause miscarriage. I have read online that way later in pregnancy it can induce labor.
