Just got home from APPT

Hey girls. I went for my appt. the dr said everything looked good. she showed me the fetal pole and she also saw a faint hb..we tried to listen for it but couldnt hear it yet! so the only thing she saw was a cyst. which she said is normal in pregnancys but that it usualy gets smaller by now. she says its pretty common for it to still be big tho. in 99% of cases it gets smaller by the time the placenta takes over. the only thing that could happen is it could twist my ovary and cut off oxygen to it. so im going back in next week for another u/s and to check on the cyst. hopefully the cyst will have shrunk some by then. she told me to take it easy so it doesnt twist or rupture, but she thought it would be fine! Im so happy everything went great. I can relax a little now! has anyone else had this cyst thing?

That is great to hear! I went when I was a little over 6 weeks and I also had the cyst. It would kind of sting and then I just quit noticing. When I went on the 3rd for my 10 week appt. It was gone. Don't stress about it, my doctor also told me it was completly normal. So if you feel slight pain on whatever side the cyst is on don't worry either, because that is also normal. I felt it quite a bit. I think that most women probably have them, they just don't normally do an u/s that early unless there is a reason, so the women don't know! Congrats again! After hearing the heartbeat there is only a 3% chance something can go wrong, so you know everything is going to be fine!!

Congrats!
  I had a cyst on my ovary ... the right one I think .. but he said it was normal and everynow and then I felt it... Just do what the Doc says and hopfully all is well... once again congrats !

i get to go back on thurs the 19th so we can "check on the cyst" and see the baby again! im excited! I also have this horrible cold/sinus infection..they put me on antibiotics and robitussin! I wanna feel better!
